For the first 2 months you will join the camera crew to events and work with existing editors on FTV content. The next 2 months will be editing content from existing fashion shows under the supervision of a seasoned editor and during the last 2 months you will edit fashion clips for broadcast.
Minimum requirements:
This position requires basic editing skills and consumer video experience (Windows Movie Maker and Apple iMovie). Knowledge of editing programs (Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro) is a plus. Experience operating Apple's OS X is also a plus. All applicants required to submit sample of film editing (no more than 10 minutes) on ½" videocassette or DVD.


Suitable for candidates with acting/hosting ambitions and an interest in production. You will have the opportunity to learn about television productions and also do hosting/acting/voiceover segments for Fashion TV. Interns with modeling potential will be included in Fashion TV's photo shoots and featured on the network.
Minimum requirements:
Must have Modeling/on-camera experience. Production and/or development experience a plus. All applicants must send a headshot with reel.

Will assist photographer with photo management, retouching, and publishing photos on different websites. You will also assist the photographer on photo shoots as well as any on-set photography needed.
Minimum requirements:
Profound understanding of graphics programs such as Photoshop, color management, and web publishing. Interest and/or experience in diving/underwater photography is a plus.

Will work closely with Systems Administration crew in monitoring and publishing video content using internet broadcast distribution methods. Will research and execute plans to replace traditional TV with such platforms - this includes Apple's "podcasting" as a platform, new TV initiatives (like Joost), as well as the distribution through Cyberbox.
Minimum requirements:
Must be computer savvy and be proficient with both MAC and PC. Familiarity with video conversion, encoding, and having a sense of platforms is a plus. Computer Science, Library Science, Mathematics, and Media Arts majors a plus.

Will head up the research and execution plan for Bigfoot to become a carbon neutral company. You will work closely with Bigfoot's development team in transitioning the company to an ECO-friendly and green work environment.
Minimum requirements:
Must be a Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, and Eco-Energy Engineering major. Having an interest in new technologies, especially in the field of new energies - solar, wind, water, biomass, etc is a plus.

Observe post production of episodic, TV movie, feature film, or current project in post. Exposure to film/tape non-linear systems.
Minimum requirements:
Film and tape editing courses. Basic understanding of consumer editing software like iMovie, Windows Moviemaker, and Final Cut Pro is a plus. All applicants are required to submit sample of film editing (no more than 10 minutes) on DVD.

Will be involved with the many aspects of departmental work such as corporate and brand communications, advertising, and promotions. You will conduct market research, database marketing, and web marketing. The intern will directly assist the Marketing Director in the preparation and execution of marketing plans for Bigfoot. Must be highly computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

This position entails the preparation and writing of copy for Bigfoot websites, advertising, and merchandising materials for Bigfoot. Involved in the preparation of company blogs and newsletters.

Observation of and some participation in day-to-day entertainment industry newsgathering and broadcasting activities. Will work in a variety of areas and interact with the Assignment Desk, Producers, Writers, Reporters and Editors. Will observe the taping of the newscast from both Control Room and Studio.

Organizing, scheduling, and budgeting of productions, some production assistant and general office duties.

TV/Film major, computer skills. Having production experience is a plus.

Introduction to entertainment program development and current programming, attend pitch, notes and staff meetings as well as script readings.
Minimum requirements:
Liberal Arts/Communications/ Business. Knowledge of television a plus.

Research and write news releases, assist in contacting all media press, attend meetings, junkets, and news events.
Minimum requirements:
Strong writing skills. Major or minor must be in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Publicity or English. Having basic knowledge of graphics programs (Photoshop) is a plus. All applicants are required to send writing samples.

Assist in production and development of original programming. Work with programming department staff and outside producers to manage creative and production issues.
Minimum requirements:
Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of Reality/Competition Shows. Production and/ or development experience a plus. Able to work long hours,
multi-task.

Exposure to all aspects of production and post production sound. Possible exposure to production sound on-set. Sound editing, supervision, mixing, transfer and studio management techniques, sound effects, music, Foley and dialogue.
Minimum requirements:
Some music and/or sound effects editing and mixing experience a plus. Basic understanding of electronics, sound equipment and computers. Commitment to career in audio production.

Emphasis on the creation, delivery of interactive content that enhances the broadcast television, iptv, console or wireless experience.
Minimum requirements:
Courses in TV/ Film/Interactive media production and/or creative writing/ storytelling, experience and familiarity with interactive technologies and platforms. Strong writing skills is a plus. All applicants are required to send writing samples.

Exposure to production of documentaries and/or reality specials, segments or series. Can include research, studio/location production, and post production.
